About the event

About the Event

2026 marks the 35th anniversary of HKTA. Throughout the year, we will be celebrating this important milestone with a series of events and communications. The highlight of our celebrations is the HKTA Conference followed by the Anniversary Reception. With our incorporation date on 4 June 1991, hosting the celebration on 3 June 2026 — exactly 35 years to the date — is particularly meaningful.

The Conference theme will be “35 years of Transformation in the Hong Kong Trust Industry”. It will bring together over 200 senior professionals in the financial services industry, with an Opening Keynote Address by The Honourable Paul CHAN Mo-po, GBM, GBS, MH, JP, Financial Secretary of HKSAR Government.

The celebrations continue with the 35th Anniversary Cocktail Reception cum CTP/TTC Certificate Presentation Ceremony, officiated by Mr. Joseph H. L. Chan, JP, Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, HKSAR Government. Participants are invited to attend the Cocktail Reception at Centricity immediately following the Conference. Given that our accredited trust training (TTC) and Certified Trust Practitioner (CTP) designation are highly valued by the industry and supervisory bodies as a platform for raising professional standards of industry participants and developing a pipeline of talents which underscores the importance of the Government's major initiative in talent development and the role of the trust sector in Hong Kong's continued success as an international financial centre, this celebratory occasion will also recognise the achievements of these TTC graduates and CTPs. We are also honoured to have the Chairman of HKSI Institute, Mr. Kevin Liem, presiding at the presentation ceremony.

We are privileged to have many distinguished leaders from regulatory bodies, global institutions, and professional firms as speakers.

Key Conference Topics

  • Thirty-five years of Trusteeship in Hong Kong – What has changed, and What's next?
