Shannon is a seasoned financial services professional with over 20+ years of experience in business development, client solutions, and relationship management across the Greater China region and beyond. Currently, as Managing Director and Head of Greater China Client Solutions at Hamilton Lane since April 2023, she leads business development and client management for private markets strategies, including private equity, private credit, and real assets. Previously, as Principal of Private Equity Client Solutions at Hamilton Lane from July 2017 to April 2023, she managed business development and investor relations for institutional clients such as sovereign wealth funds, public pensions, and family offices. Earlier roles include Vice President of Business Development at BMO Global Asset Management (2015-2017), where she covered diverse investment funds, and Vice President of Relationship Management at Northern Trust Corporation (2011-2015), focusing on sovereign wealth funds and central banks. She began her career at HSBC as Vice President of Business Development (2005-2011), specializing in institutional business, alternative investments, and hedge fund services. Shannon’s expertise spans fundraising, asset allocation, and decision-making, making her a pivotal leader in the financial sector.
